Terms & Conditions
For all tuition and public speaking provided by The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette in the UK, full payment is required 14 days in advance.
Please be advised that unless otherwise stated all one-day or half-day courses are carried out at a date of mutual convenience between The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette and the client. Once a date and venue has been arranged, and payment has been received, clients will receive an email with final confirmation and arrangements for the day. The tuition will not go ahead until full payment has been received.
Postponement to a later date is considered on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette. An amendment charge may be applied.
Any early-bird discounted rate quoted is subject to the same terms and conditions and payment must be received within 14 working days of the date of invoice for the rate to be honoured. Failure to pay within the 14 days will result in the full course price being charged.
Cancellations and refunds are considered on a case by case basis.
In the unlikely event that a course with a stated minimum numbers of attendees does not meet the target then The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette reserves the right to cancel the course. A full refund will be offered to fully enrolled students within seven working days. The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette cannot be held responsible for any expenses incurred by students due to a postponement or cancellation of a course.
Methods of Payment
Payment is required via bank transfer, credit or debit card. Details will be provided on booking.
All payments received must be in British Pounds.
Damages and Breakages
Any costs incurred through damage or breakage to any venues, properties, belongings or equipment owned or sourced by The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette or affiliated companies will be covered by the responsible party.
The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette asks all students to arrive for the time stipulated on the course welcome information, unless agreed otherwise. Emma Dupont will leave and no refund will be offered for students who fail to show after 40 minutes without telephoning, texting or emailing to alert me to their lateness.
Some of the training courses take place in London’s most prestigious private members clubs and hotels, which enforce dress codes. Emma Dupont will be unable to go ahead with the training should students turn up in clothes that contravene these dress codes. Information on dress codes (together with all other relevant information about the course) will be sent upon receipt of payment. The student accepts that failure to comply with the dress code will result in training not taking place. No refund will be offered.
Video or audio recording of any class, seminar or workshop given by The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette is prohibited unless otherwise agreed. If permission has been granted, then it is understood that the footage/audio is used for personal use only and will not be used for commercial gain or appear on any media or social media.
Occasionally, The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette needs to film or photograph a tutorial for internal or external marketing purposes. Students or clients who do not wish to be captured must alert The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette writing no less than five working days before the course commencement date. The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette will inform students of any planned filming or photography by a party other than The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette in writing.
The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette reserves the right to postpone any training due to industrial action, ill health or any other unforeseen occurrence, and will make every best effort to inform the client in time.
The Emma Dupont School of Etiquette the right to change or replace any modules on any of the listed courses; where possible students will be notified of these changes.
